Our Personal Care Assistants provide support with a variety of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including:
- Grooming
- Bathing
- Meal Preparation & Feeding
- Toileting
- Mobility
- Positioning
- Transfers
- Medication Reminders
- Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
They also help patients get around in the community: doctor’s appointments, community events, and games.
Our PCAs specialize in working with children with Autism, ADHD, and RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder). They go through an extensive training program before they work with patients. They are additionally required to attend ongoing training to keep up-to-date on procedures, skills, and best practices as caregivers.
